Project Nine: Invigorating A Very Old Bathroom
Client: Mike Jarvis Gloucester, MA
Listen
This bathroom was several generations old with layers of previous remodeling efforts evident. Age caught up with the condition, and simple repairs were no longer a viable answer. A clean, bright, and, most importantly, economical renovation of the bathroom in order.
Visualize
To help keep the cost of construction down, Bruce kept the layout the same, designed a custom cabinet that would serve the small bathroom efficiently, selected a economical yet good looking tub surround, designed a closet a facelift, and added a chair rail to create a two-tone paint scheme.
Build
Bruce handled all phases of construction himself, including demolition, rough framing, window replacement, drywall, tub and surround installation, cabinet construction and installation, countertop and sink fabrication, finish carpentry, and painting. Bruce’s attention to detail at every step along the way culminated into a clean, bright and sharply finished renovation.
